WELCOME 2 AFRICA - TEMBA LODGE!

Nestled away in the South African bush, Temba Lodge offers a perfect getaway for the entire family. A mere 4 hours drive from Johannesburg and you will find yourself relaxing in the peacefulness and tranquillity of nature.

Accomodation:
Temba Lodge has 4 luxurious thatched roof rooms, each can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. Each room is equipped with a minibar, fan and coffee/tea making facilities, each with its own private patio from where you can enjoy the beautiful South African sunset. The large ensuite bathrooms all have shower and are beautifully decorated. Each room offers its own unique style to the guests.

The Lodge:
Situated on a malaria free area of 2600 hectares Temba Lodge offers an astonishing variety of scenery, from mountainous areas to open savannah bushveld. There are several viewpoints close to the lodge from where you can enjoy the magnificent wildlife, the overwhelming nature and the extraordinary birdlife.
For those who enjoy exercise you will find a multitude of hiking trails in the area. A 4x4 is available for those who wish to explore the grounds and wildlife in an open vehicle.
After a day of game drives and other activities cool down in the pool or enjoy a sundowner in the outside lapa overlooking the impressive bushveld.
All meals are superbly prepared by Temba’s own cook, Hendrick, and are sure to tantalize you tastebuds. They can be enjoyed either in the in- or outdoor lapa or by the braai area.

Activities:
From Temba Lodge a variety of activities such as game drives and walks at the nearby big five game lodges, golf, overnight trips to Botswana, horseback riding and township tours can be arranged.
For those who do not wish to drive from Johannesburg themselves transfers can be arranged and can even include an overnight stay at Lesedi Cultural Village.

Wildlife:
Besides a wide variety of birdlife Temba Lodge is also home to a number of other wild animals such as Impala, wilderbeest, warthog, ostrich, bleesbuck, kudu, zebra, duiker, steenbuck, eland, gemsbok and jackal. There are no “dangerous” animals at Temba and it is therefore safe to freely walk around on the lodge’s area.

Temba Lodge welcomes children of all ages and offers the entire family a wonderful opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Discounts:
Babies 0 – 1 years: Free of charge
Children 2 – 12 years sharing a room with 2 adults: 50%
Children 2 – 12 years sleeping in own room: 30%
Youth discount 13 – 18 years: 10%
Groups 8 – 12 people: 15% per person

Rates include: All meals, i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner. Free use of 4x4. Cleaning.
Rates exclude: All beverages except tea & coffee. Tours/activities outside Temba Lodge. Laundry service.
