WELCOME 2 AFRICA - TERRAFOU SAFARI LODGE!

Terrafou is a Danish-owned lodge situated right on the banks of the mighty Limpopo River only half an hours drive from the South African border.
Terrafou is truly an undiscovered diamond in the middle of the African bush.

The lodge covers an area of approximately 4300 hectares and is not only home to a variety of wildlife but also bosts a scenery out of the ordinary consisting of a mix between bushveld and rocky mountainscapes.

Accommodation:
Terrafou consists of 2 camps: Hunters' Camp and Old Camp, both of them are situated overlooking the Limpopo River approximately 100 meters from the mainbuilding.

Hunters' Camp - Deluxe Rooms:
Hunters' Camp consists of 3 double houses each housing 2 double rooms. All rooms have private facilities and aircondition. The camp itself has an outdoor covered dining area, splash pool and a platfrom strecthing out onto the river itself from where you can enjoy a sundowner and the beautiful nature.

Old Camp - Standard Rooms:
Old camp is a little bit more primitive but has a lovely atmosphere. This camp also consists of 2 double houses with 2 double rooms in each. Each house share a bathroom. The camp itself has an outdoor covered dining area as well as a splashpool.

Wildlife:
In the river you will find hippo and crocodile almost year round. A variety of buck such as kudu, impala, waterbuck, steenbuck, duiker and gemsbok rome the area as well as zebra, wildebeest, hartebeest, warthog and an abondance of different bird species. As an extra bonus elephant is often seen drinking by the river.

Activities:
During a stay at Terrafou a variety of activities are offered such as gamedrives and walks, sunset tours, rafting on the river as well as a trip to Solomon's wall.

RATES:

Terrafou offers both selfcatering and fully inclusive accomodation. In case you choose the selfcatering option it is recommended to buy your groceries enroute to Terrafou.
