Highlights of this full day tour include: Visit to Lesedi Cultural Village where you experience a multilingual, audio-visual orientation depicting the history of South Africa; guided tour through traditional homesteads of Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi and Sotho villages; song and dance performance in the auditorium. After a traditional African lunch feast (included), travel to the Drimolen site at the Cradle of Humankind. Drimolen is the third richest hominid site in southern Africa where the discovery of the most complete female A Robustus skull along with a complete male jaw made world headlines. As the site is being excavated all year round, it provides an excellent opportunity to see an excavation in progress.
