This
tour of cultural discovery is ideal for explorers whose interests lie
in the country and its inhabitants. Incorporating must see
areas of traditional sightseeing and highlighting the exceptional culture
found in South Africa, this module departs from Cape Town. Explore the
culture of the early settlers and their descendants as well as the Bushmen,
the original inhabitants of this area, all whilst experiencing the scenic

Day
1:
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a
Welcome Tourism Services representative, handed your world-class documentation
pack and assisted to the Europcar rental counter to collect your vehicle.
Depart Cape Town and head inland for some of the oldest and most historic
towns in South Africa. Here you can explore the culture of South Africas
first settlers, the Huguenots and the Dutch, which is very much alive
in many facets of daily life. We suggest a visit to a few of the wine
estates, farms and orchards.

2:
Today you have a full day to further enjoy your time in this scenic
and cultural jewel. We suggest a day trip to the Huguenot town of Franschoek,
where evidence of these early settlers is still very visible.

Day 3:
This journey of discovery continues in a westerly direction to the arid
land bordering the cold waters of the Atlantic. The next two nights
will be spent at a game and cultural reserve, which focuses on the protection
of the traditions and lifestyle of the first inhabitants of the Cape,
the Bushmen. Experience this ancient culture first hand.

Day
4:
A full day can be spent relaxing and exploring this area. Explore the
ways of the Bushmen, a worthwhile soul-searching experience. Kagga Kamma
offers luxurious accommodation and delicious cuisine.

5:
After breakfast travel further west along the coast back to Cape Town
or the International Airport. En-route you will discover the small fishing
communities, which have not changed in hundreds of years. Arrive in
Cape Town in the late afternoon.
Approximate travel time: 7 Hours from Kagga Kamma to Cape Town or the
International Airport.
