This tour is designed for maximum enjoyment of the Lowveld area. Personalised service and interaction with real South Africans, gives clients a wonderful opportunity to enjoy this part of the country and its people. This tour offers excellent value for money for the more cost conscious traveller.

Kindly note, that this tour has been designed in such a way that no overnight stop is required in Johannesburg before departing, as the driving distance is relatively short on the first day.

Day 1:
On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport you will be met by a Welcome Tourism Services representative, handed your world-class documentation and assisted to the Europcar rental counter to collect your vehicle. Depart from Johannesburg and drive in an easterly direction on the national highway via Witbank, and arrive in the historic village of Dullstroom in the early afternoon.

Day 2:
After a sumptuous breakfast, enjoy the many activities on offer. Excellent trout fishing is the main claim to fame of this peaceful village. Walking trails and bird watching are also popular in the district and highly recommended. The quaint village of Dullstroom has many shops, farm stalls and local pubs that are well worth a visit.

Day 3:
After breakfast, travel along the R 36 via Lydenburg and Ohrigstad through the Strydom Tunnel en-route to Hoedspruit. Before reaching Hoedspruit turn off the R 36 onto the R 531 to Orpen Gate to enter the Kruger National Park through the Orpen Gate, to arrive at your next domicile in time for the afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle. Hamiltons Tented Camp lies within the world famous Kruger National Park. Your luxury tented camp overlooks the Ngwenyeni Dam, the camp is unfenced and the wildlife moves freely throughout the camp.

Day 4:
After an early morning game drive, return to the camp for a hearty breakfast. Relax in the heat of the day by the pool. For the more adventurous, we recommend a game walk under the guidance of an armed ranger to learn about the flora and fauna on foot. After high tea, depart on the afternoon game drive, enjoy sundowners en route and return to the camp for dinner.

Day 5:
After an early morning activity and breakfast, you have the opportunity for a self drive through the Kruger National Park en-route to your next overnight stay. Exit the Kruger National Park through the Kruger Gate travelling via Hazyview towards White River, turn off near Spitskop to arrive at your destination for the next two nights.
Hidden away deep in the heart of the forest lies an old hunting lodge called Cybele Forest Lodge.

Day 6:
After breakfast, enjoy the many resort activities, or a massage at the spa, or explore Mpumalanga’s scenic attractions including God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon and the Mac Mac Falls, known as the Panorama Route.

Day 7:
After breakfast, return via Nelspruit back to Johannesburg, returning your rental vehicle in Johannesburg or at the International Airport.
