ELEPHANT HIKING TRAIL
4 DAYS/3 NIGHTS - JOHANNESBURG TO JOHANNESBURG

Day 1
Early morning we depart from Johannesburg and Pretoria heading towards the picturesque Mpumalanga, stopping at scenic sites such as the Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's Window and the Three Rondawels. You will enjoy a traditional South African potjie, while relaxing around the campfire. Today breakfast and lunch is at own cost. We will be staying in chalets, at a private safari lodge on the border of Kruger National Park.

Day 2
At sunrise we depart for the world renowned Kruger National Park harbouring an unparalleled diversity of wildlife! Early morning we venture on a 2-3 hour hiking trail in KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, where we are accompanied by an armed Field Ranger. (Please note that the game walk may be on day three) You will be animal tracking and learn about the flora and fauna in this magnificent National Park. After our hiking trail we venture to our campsite where brunch will be served. The rest of the day is spent on game drives searching for as many of the 147 mammals, 114 reptiles, 33 amphibians an 507 bird species as possible. The next two evenings are spent in our fully erected campsite, built on the shores of the Timbavati river, in Kruger National Park, where we regularly see wildlife coming to drink at the small water hole next to our campsite.

Day 3
As soon as the gates open, we start with our game drive to ensure we see as much game as possible. The majority of today is spent on game drives. We do stop at picnic spots inside the Park for breakfast and lunch, before departing on more game drives searching for as many of the wildlife species as possible in their natural habitat. You will depart on a three hour night drive at sunset.

Day 4
This is your last game drive of the tour, where we hope to spot that animal that has evaded us until now. Brunch is served at a picnic spot before returning to Johannesburg and Pretoria via Nelspruit. Lunch is at own cost.
